Please join us in congratulating Ying Song, who successfully defended her dissertation today. Ying’s dissertation on “Green Accessibility: Estimating the Environmental Costs of Space-time Prisms for Sustainable Transportation Planning” is a part of an NSF-funded project involving investigators from Ohio State University, Arizona State University and the University of Utah.  Ying’s dissertation committee includes Morton O’Kelly, Ningchuan Xiao, Desheng Liu, Cynthia Gerhardt (Graduate School representative) and Advisor Harvey Miller. 

Ying will soon be leaving us for a tenure-track Assistant Professor position in Department of Geography, Environment and Society at the University of Minnesota.
