GIS Day at the Research Commons // 10AM—4PM
Workhops, lectures, and exhibits. GIS fair w/ professionals from industry, government, and academia

GeoCaching Competition // 3:30PM-5:30PM
Teams of 3-4 compete in a scavenger hunt across campus using GPS to navigate and find clues. Meet in Derby 1080. Food will be provided after.

Designing Cities for Bicycling and Walking
A panel on how Columbus and other cities are working to improve livability and encourage active transportation.

National Weather Service (NWS) Roadshow! // 4PM—6PM
Come network with 8 representatives from the National Weather Service, a T.V. meteorologist, and a graduate student from Penn State University to talk about careers within atmospheric sciences. Opportunity to have dinner with many of the speakers after the event. The NWS Roadshow only happens once every three years, and it is an incredible opportunity to learn about future careers and network with professional meteorologists. Anyone thinking about a career in atmospheric sciences is strongly encouraged to attend. Sponsored by the Meterology Club.
