GEOG 1900H: Extreme Weather and Climate

Surveys characteristics and processes of Earth's atmosphere and how it interacts with the planet's surface, oceans, and human activity. The course focuses on how these interactions work to produce extreme weather events and climate extremes and how they affect people.
Prereq: Honors standing, or permission of instructor. Not open to students with credit for 1900 (120), 120H, 2960 (220), 5900 (520), or AtmosSc 2940 (230). GE nat sci phys course.
