Marshall Shepherd, a leading international weather-climate expert and a Distinguished Professor of Geography and Atmospheric Sciences at the University of Georgia, is the speaker for this year's Robinson Lecture. He will present The Extreme Weather - Climate Gap: The Intersection of Extremes, Vulnerability and Risk.  Dr. Shepherd will discuss the intersection of climate change, extreme weather, risk, and vulnerability from multiple lenses including current events, the scientific literature, and his own research portfolio.
