We were delighted to welcome Howard Biel (Ph.D., 1976) back to the department where we celebrate the dedication of the teaching class room (Derby 1080). This room has been retrofitted with the generous support from Howard and Rene Biel, and the room is now named in their honor. Howard’s advisor was Howard Gauthier. We are pleased to have several current faculty and department members in attendance and to participate in the Dean's Advisory Council Dinner with Howard on Wednesday night.
