Here are some further details on the recent trips by Bryan Mark who gave an invited talk at the Snow Watch Meeting a couple of weeks ago. This invitation only meeting is organized by a working group of the World Meteorological Organization's Global Cryosphere Watch Program.

After the Eastern Snow Conference meeting, Bryan drove up to the shores of Lake Erie to discuss Ohio Hydro Geography with Dr. Garry McKenzie (Emeritus, SES & BPCRC) and guide a few days of a unique international mobile academic field excursion featuring 20 faculty, staff and MS students from Switzerland, Russia and the US traveling by bus for a full month across the USA: "From New York City to San Francisco: Water and the Great American Experiment."  Bryan says it was intellectually stimulating, fun, and thought provoking to share perspectives on water at this critical time in global history.
