Dr. Deondre Smiles

The American Geographical Society has released the third volume of its anthology of Black geographers, available online at https://americangeo.org/black-geographers-2011-2020/. Previous AGS publications in this series—Celebrating Black Geographers: the First Cohort 1900-2000 and Celebrating Black Geographers: the Second Cohort 2001-2010—are archived at https://americangeo.org/black-geographers-1900-2000/ and https://americangeo.org/black-geographers-2001-2010/. As AGS describes it, the series is “a single source database that chronicles the contributions of Black Geographers to the discipline of Geography”.
