Mathew Coleman, professor and interim chair in the Department of Geography, has been appointed chair of the department for a four-year term. An expert in geopolitics, immigration and the geography of law, Coleman’s current research focuses primarily on immigration law politics, specifically issues related to the U.S. – Mexico border.
