Join us in congratulating Sayoni Bose, who successfully defended her dissertation this morning. Sayoni's dissertation is on The Messy Politics of Land Acquisition in West Bengal. Becky Mansfield was her advisor. On her committee were Nancy Ettlinger, Ed Malecki, Kendra McSweeney, and Ian Sheldon (graduate school representative, from AEDE).
Sayoni will be moving to Chicago this summer to start her new tenure track position at Governors State University.
