Dr. Jana Houser is storm chasing in Texas and has been able to demonstrate that everything is indeed bigger in Longhorn country! On June 13 Dr. Houser collected a grapefruit-sized chunk of hail—more than 5 1/2 inches in diameter—during a storm near Shamrock, TX just west of Oklahoma City.
