Jackie Beck wins Outstanding Student Presentation Award from the AGU

Jackie Beck (Steven Quiring, advisor) has been recognized by the American Geophysical Union for the work she presented at the December AGU meeting in Chicago, IL. Jackie’s presentation—titled ‘Inventory of Federal Climate Engagement and Capacity-building Programs’—addressed public engagement and pedagogy on the topic of equity and climate change. Her collaborators on the project are Frank Niepold, Senior Climate Education Program Manager and Coordinator at NOAA, and Haley Crim, Climate Communication and Analysis Specialist, also at NOAA. Well done, Jackie!
