GEOG 3650: A World Divided? Place, Space, and Regions in World Affairs
This course embraces a new approach to world regions by focusing on the ways that the social and physical features of our planet are intertwined and constantly changing. This exploration is carried out in this class through a geographical focus on contemporary world affairs. This approach will help reveal the diverse and dynamic social and physical environments we inhabit and how these shape our sense of self and belonging in a connected world. In this way, students will develop a deeper understanding of the meaning and importance of citizenship in dynamic global context.
