This course carries 4-credit-hours and fulfills a General Education Sustainability Thematic Pathway requirement for NEW students (Autumn 2022 and later).  This course has been approved as High-Impact Practice: Education Abroad and Away.  In addition to the Citizenship Theme, University policy requires new students to take one other Theme course to graduate.  Students have to either take two 3-credit hour courses in different disciplines or they can complete the entire Theme requirement with one 4-credit integrative course, like this one, in the study away category.  Legacy students can use this course toward their Open Options or another GE.
