At the AAG meeting in Hawaii Becky Mansfield was recognized with the CAPE Distinguished Career Award from the Cultural and Political Ecology Specialty Group. This award is given annually “in recognition of an established scholar who has made a demonstrable impact on cultural and/or political ecology”. Becky’s nomination letter was signed by more than two dozen signatories!

The award comes with an invitation to give a CAPE keynote talk at the 2025 AAG meeting.
