Please join us in congratulating Bo Zhao, who successfully defended his dissertation on July  1.  Bo’s dissertation is on “Detecting Location Spoofing in Social Media: Initial Investigations of an Emerging Issue in Geospatial Big Data. “  Bo’s dissertation committee includes Harvey Miller, Ningchuan Xiao, and Trevor Brown (Graduate School representative) and advisor Daniel Sui.
Bo will be joining Harvard’s Kennedy School of Government as a postdoctoral research fellow for the Democratic Governance and Innovation project starting in September.
