Please join us in congratulating Nichols Sakian who successfully defended his Masters Thesis entitled “ Seasonal Temperature Trends and Variability of Temperature, Precipitation and Diurnal Temperature Range in U.S. Climate Divisions”.  Alvaro Montenegro and Jay Hobgood (adviser) formed Nicholas’ committee.  Please note that Jeff Rogers was Nicholas’s adviser until he retired and STRS rules prevented him from chairing the committee.  Jeff worked very closely with Nicholas within STRS guidelines, and would be the adviser of record if the rules allowed.
