We congratulate Dan Sui on the news of his appointment as Division Director for the Social and Economic Sciences Division (SES) of the Social, Behavioral, and Economic Sciences Directorate (SBE) of the National Science Foundation.  The SES Division includes Economics, Sociology, Political Science, and a number of interdisciplinary areas including Law & Social Sciences; Decision, Risk and Management Sciences; Science of Organizations; Science, Technology, and Society; and Methodology, Measurement, and Statistics. This is a rotator position and Dan will be based in DC. Among the many areas of expertise that Dan brings to this position is a focus on interdisciplinary work and concerns with big data. Well done Dan: this is a real tribute to your interdisciplinary scholarship!
