Emma Maher with Research Poster

Emma Maher, a third year honors student in the Geography department, presented her research titled "Extreme heat, urban experimentation, and visions of past futures in Seville, Spain" at the July 2024 Summer Research Opportunities Program (SROP) symposium. Emma’s fieldwork in Spain was funded by SROP and the College of Arts and Sciences. Her advisor is Dr. Max Woodworth.

SROP prepares undergraduates for graduate studies via intensive research experiences with faculty mentors. The program aims to increase the number of students pursuing graduate education by enhancing access to research opportunities and preparing them for successful careers at the graduate level.

Well done, Emma!
