Faculty advising excellence award for Professor Steven Quiring!
The Council of Graduate Students (C.G.S.) has named Professor Steven Quiring a recipient of the C.G.S. Distinguished Service Award, which recognizes students, staff, and faculty who have made meaningful contributions to Ohio State’s graduate community.
Steven received the James M. Siddens Award for Distinguished Faculty Advising, the university’s only award dedicated to excellence in graduate advising. Established in 2002 in honor of longtime C.G.S. advisor James M. Siddens, the award recognizes graduate faculty members who exemplify exceptional mentorship, advocacy, and support for graduate students. Well done, Steven!
Steven will be honored at the next monthly meeting of the Council of Graduate Students on Friday, May 8, 2026, at 4:00 p.m.!
