Geography undergraduates present their work at the 2025 AAG meeting in Detroit!

Congratulations to our intrepid undergraduate students who presented their work at this year’s national AAG meeting in Detroit. Emma Maher presented her thesis “Extreme heat, urban experimentation, and visions of past futures in Seville, Spain” in the session Towards Equity: Housing, Climate, and Energy Justice for Sustainable Future Cities 2 and was a panelist in Community and Practice: Geography Student Organizations. Cat Adams presented her thesis “Fossil Empire: Coal, Steam, and British Colonization in Aden” in the session Historical Geographies of Capitalism 1: Labor and Empire. Harrison Franken presented his poster, titled “Drone Photogrammetry Survey of Llaca Glacier, Peru. Congratulations, Emma, Cat, and Harrison!
