On Monday, November 28, Pranav Padmanabhan (Major Geography, Public Health) successfully defended his thesis for a degree of Honors with Research Distinction, “”Get High, Don’t Die”: Radical Care within the Grassroots Harm Reduction Movement in Ohio.” Pranav’s thesis describes his recent ethnographic research, which is founded in his long-term harm-reduction outreach in support of those most affected by Ohio’s opioid epidemic. His committee included Kendra McSweeney and Madhumita Dutta (pictured, Geography) and Dr. Ayaz Hyder, OSU School of Public Health.
