GIS Lecturer Position Available

The Department of Geography at the Ohio State University seeks a Lecturer in Geographical Information Sciences. Courses to be taught in Autumn and Spring semester of appointment year. This will be a one year appointment with the possibility of renewal based on positive performance, department need, and budgetary allowance. Salary range is based on course load.  Appointment (FTE) will range between 75% and 100% dependent upon the number of courses assigned (6-8 per academic year).  Position involves teaching courses that could range over GIS, data analysis, remote sensing, and spatial analysis. The department is looking for a dedicated instructor who has these classes in their repertoire and who can take on these responsibilities in a manner consistent with the other faculty members teaching the classes.
