Faculty News:
Joel Wainwright published a paper in Cartographica (54:4) responding to geographers who mapped indigenous lands in Honduras with funding from a US military program.
Student News:
Zachary Leasor (PhD Candidate, Atmospheric Sciences Program) won a Sharpe Innovation Award for the project “Exploring the Benefits of Displaying High Resolution Drought Maps in Near Real-Time.” This award supports innovative and technologically enabled activity that reflects interdisciplinary collaboration.
Zhiying Li (PhD Candidate, Atmospheric Sciences Program) won a Presidential Fellowship, which is the highest award bestowed by the Graduate School
