Faculty News:
Madhumita Dutta, together with the rest of the editorial team, published an editorial, Global Labour Studies in the Pandemic: Notes for an Emerging Agenda in the Global Labor Journal.
Madhumita also organized a book review symposium in Antipode, Stories from a Migrant City: Living and Working Together in the Shadow of Brexit.
Alumni News:
Emily Sambucco (MA, Geog, 2019) is now a Catastrophe Analyst for Liberty Mutual’s Corporate R&D team. She works on catastrophic event modeling and analyses.

Autumn semester classes begin Tuesday, August 25th.
Geography Blog:
Geography PhD Candidate Sohyun Park recently returned from Seoul, South Korea, where she traveled to collect field data for her dissertation. She reflected on conducting interviews during a COVID-19 pandemic in this week's blog post. Fieldwork in a 250 sq ft Studio.
