Professor Max Woodworth wins Mershon grant for research on Taiwan

Professor Max D. Woodworth has been awarded a Faculty Individual Research Grant by the Mershon Center for International Security Studies for a project titled “Making Taiwan Home: Space, Territory, and Geopolitics in Taiwan’s Military Dependents Villages.” The grant supports research related to the study of Taiwan’s development of military retiree enclaves during the Cold War and these spaces’ ongoing roles in Taiwan’s domestic political development and cross-Strait relations.
