Sandy Wong is a health geographer who broadly studies how our social, built, and natural environments influence the well-being of marginalized communities. She teaches courses on the theory and practice of GIS, health geography, and land use. Her current research includes collaborative projects on: (1) environmental justice among disabled and queer people, (2) covid-19 and care conditions in nursing homes, and (3) inequalities in healthcare access.
