Talk Title: Chemical Imaginaries: In/Discrete and Un/Contained

Abstract: This talk is about living in chemical ubiquity and with the awareness of chemical ubiquity. I demonstrate the indiscreet nature of issues we tend to hold apart, while also demonstrating the difficulty, if not impossibility, of managing these issues: they are uncontained. I illustrate this with diverse artistic representations: attempts to grapple with chemical ubiquity visually.
