Yongha Park successfully defended his dissertation this week. The committee was Harvey Miller, Ningchuan Xiao, Morton O’Kelly (adviser) and Zhenhua Chen (C&RP) as the Grad School Representative. The dissertation is entitled: Studies in Airline and Aviation Efficiency.  Four papers from this dissertation have been published in peer reviewed journals, including Environment and Planning A, Journal of Advanced Transportation. Journal of Air Transport Management, and Journal of Transport Geography.
All agreed that this is a very fine piece of work. Yongha is continuing to work on additional papers this summer.
