Students from Geography 5501: Urban Spaces in the global economy went for a field trip to Weinland Park to study the neighborhood changes and to interact with the long-time residents to learn about their perspectives. They were given a tour of the neighborhood by Weinland Park resident Jean Pitman. The students also interacted with Tanya Long, a longtime resident and President of Weinland Park Community Civic Association. The course is taught by Madhumita Dutta.
