Dr. Joseph Chan

Assistant professor, Dr. Joseph Chan has been awarded a prestigious Young Investigator Grant from the Office of Naval Research for research on high-resolution numerical aerosol prediction and high-resolution numerical weather prediction. The project, entitled Improving the Navy’s Numerical Atmospheric Predictions by Advancing Novel Transformative Low-Cost Forecast Ensemble Creation Method is for $720,600 over a three-year period.
