Max Woodworth's work on "ghost cities" in China was mentioned in a Sept.1 feature article by Bloomberg News titled "China's Ghost Cities are Finally Stirring to Life after Years of Empty Streets."

Student News: 

Geography PhD student Armita Kar was interviewed by Spotlight on Poverty, a poverty journalism website. She discussed the recent study she led on food access during COVID.

Our first speaker of the 2021-2022 Academic Year is our alumna (PhD Geog, 1987) and our Robinson Speaker, Kavita Pandit, Senior Advisor to the Provost, Georgia State University. Her talk is titled, "the Restructuring of Faculty Careers: Trends, Issues, and Models for the Future." Friday, October 1 at 3:30 pm via Zoom.
