Faculty News: 

Max D. Woodworth was awarded research funding from the Center for Chinese Studies of National Central Library of Taiwan for a project titled "Atmospheric Politics: Air Quality, Civic Science, and Digital Democracy in Taiwan." Travel restrictions permitting, the research is to take place in summer 2022.

Student News: 

Anisa Kline (PhD candidate, Geog) is joining the Board of Directors for MHP Salud, a national nonprofit dedicated to promoting and training Community Health Workers in underserved Latino communities. She and other board members will work together to support the organization's mission and goals.

Alyssa Reynolds (MS student, ASP) was the runner-up for the National Weather Association's Dr. Roderick A. Schofield Scholarship in Meteorology. She was awarded a one-year student membership for the NWA, which she will utilize to continue her professional development in the Atmospheric Sciences.
