Matthew Schneider wins SBS Grant

Undergraduate Matthew Schneider (double major in History and Geography) has been awarded a research grant from Social and Behavioral Sciences for his project, The New Frontier: Postcolonial Nationhood and Transnational Conservation in the Kavango-Zambezi Basin. Congratulations Matthew.

Sam Kay Awarded two FLAS Fellowships

Geography Ph.D Student Sam Kay was awarded two FLAS fellowships this week: one for summer Chinese study, one for the academic year 2016-17. He was also awarded a Critical Language Scholarship funded through the Dept. of State, also for summer language study.
