Please join us in congratulating Oliver Wigmore who successfully passed his Ph.D. dissertation defense Friday 8-19. Ollie’s dissertation is entitled, “Assessing Spatiotemporal Variability in Glacial Watershed Hydrology: Integrating Unmanned Aerial Vehicles and Field Hydrology, Cordillera Blanca, Peru.”

Ollie’s committee included Drs. Darla Monroe, Desheng Liu and Bryan Mark (advisor) of Geography, and Mike Durand of Earth Sciences. The Faculty Representative for the Graduate School was Dr. K. Rafiq Islam of the School of Environment and Natural Resources. Thanks to all who attended Ollie’s presentation.

After completing some minor thesis revisions, Ollie will be headed to University of Colorado to begin a postdoctoral research position in the Center for Water Earth Science & Technology under Dr. Noah Molotch.
