Research - Human Geography

How do you determine what places are central, at the heart of culture and power, and what places are on the edge, on the periphery? How do borders influence our thinking and movement?

Scholars of human geography consider the way power and human energy move across time and space, connecting to questions of politics, law, ecology, and sociology. They pose questions of how power and place interact to create the societies we see and where we might be able to do better.
