Research - Cities & Urban

Our cities are constantly changing. From the people who inhabit cities across the globe to the technology governing how cities function, questions of how cities work are fundamentally geographic. In our department, our scholars approach questions of urban development from multiple perspectives, showing that the life of a city can and should be understood as the interaction of multiple variables and movements. Our scholars look at questions like transportation, health, labor, and economic issues as they relate to the geography of cities.
