The Atmospheric Sciences minor encompasses all aspects of the study of weather and climate. The curriculum includes the study of severe storms and other atmospheric systems that comprise day-to-day weather. Multiple processes that create and change the Earth's climate are also discussed. Atmospheric scientists work on scales that vary from forecasting local weather at the Earth's surface to researching global features that impact weather and climate around the world. You can choose to take courses on either or both of these scales as part of the Atmospheric Sciences minor.
